In a surprising collaboration that breaks conventional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of prohibited rituals and monstrous changes reverberate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden group.
The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
