Overcoming a 30-14 hole in the final period, the Seahawks emerged victorious 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight win.
While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a playoff spot earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team booked their return to the play-offs after a two-year hiatus.
With this result, the Seattle now lead their division's race with a 12-3 mark, replacing the Rams, who fell to the fifth seed with an 11-4 standing.
