A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday following a recent disclosure of a rare blood cancer diagnosis.

News of her death was announced in a social media post from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Understanding the Illness
In a personal essay this past fall, she disclosed that she had been suffering from a type of blood cancer with a rare mutation.
This form of cancer is a disease that affects the bone marrow and blood cells.
